Why Your Council’s Code of Conduct Matters

This session is for all councillors, to be well informed about standards in public life and understand the importance of your Council’s Code of Conduct and the requirements of individual councillors to comply with it.

The rules for registering and declaring interests, and dealing with them at meetings will be explored and what happens when complaints are made about councillors.

Please note that bookings and cancellations will close 48 hours before each event.  Cancellations should be emailed to cdalc@durham.gov.uk.  After this time all live bookings will be charged (for pay for events) whether the person attends or not, but non attendees will be sent the presentation. Councils will be invoiced after each event.

Online training will be delivered using Teams and the online weblink will be emailed to participants no later than 24 hours before the event.
