Wheatley Hill Parish Council Groundsperson Vacancy

Wheatley Hill Parish Council is looking to appoint a Groundsperson.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced individuals for the vacancy of Groundsperson with the Parish Council. The position is based in Wheatley Hill Cemetery, but you will be expected to work at various locations throughout Wheatley Hill.

You will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties which include grave digging, grass cutting and general maintenance of council property. This includes maintenance of open spaces, allotments, playing fields and other areas managed by the Parish Council.

The position is a permanent appointment based on a 37 hour week, the salary being £18,333 depending upon age, experience and qualifications.
