Playground management Thurs 25th June 2026

29th April 2026

10am-1pm

at Belmont Community Association, Sunderland Road, Durham, DH1 2LL

£20 County Association members /£35 non members (invoice afterwards)

Playground managers must have an inspection regime in place to ensure their sites are safe for users and well maintained for longevity of equipment.

This course will consider the detail of playground inspections and understanding the issues with different types of equipment, surfacing, and signage.  We will also focus on some of the practical applications of the morning’s learning on site where there is a wide range of play equipment.

The course is suitable for clerks and council staff and interested councillors.

So, book yourself on and come along to learn about what’s involved in managing a play area well.

Our presenters will be from Streetscape (Products & Services) Ltd

Please use this booking form to reserve your place at Playground Inspection Training.

Please note that bookings and cancellations will close on Tues 23rd June at 9am.  Cancellations should be emailed to cdalc@durham.gov.uk.  After this time all live bookings will be charged whether the person attends or not, but non attendees will be sent the presentation. Councils will be invoiced after each event.
