£10 County Association members /£15 non members (invoice afterwards)

Playground managers should have an inspection regime in place to ensure the site is safe for users and well maintained to ensure the longevity of equipment.  These inspections are vital as play parks are susceptible to hazards resulting from vandalism, misuse and weather conditions.  This course is suitable for anyone who carries out regular daily and weekly visual inspections of play areas whether paid staff or councillors/volunteers.  It will focus on what to look for and associated record keeping.

Please note that bookings and cancellations will close 48 hours before each event.  Cancellations should be emailed to cdalc@durham.gov.uk.  After this time all live bookings will be charged whether the person attends or not, but non attendees will be sent the presentation. Councils will be invoiced after each event.
