This course is suitable for clerks and councillors. It will focus on all aspects to consider when managing projects, events, services, fixed assets and staff/volunteers. It is a very wide ranging course, emphasising the need to plan, budget and areas such as procurement, insurance, health and safety, risk management and other statutory requirements and best practice.
For those studying ILCA or CiLCA this course is aligned with Unit 4 – Management for Local Councils.

Lesley Swinbank, currently clerk to a small parish council but with over 30+ years of experience as a large town council clerk in County Durham
Please note
Registration and cancellations will close 48 hours before the course. After this time all live bookings will be charged whether the person attends or not, but non attendees will be sent the presentation.
Please note that when booking, the Zoom link for the training will appear on the confirmation screen and participants are advised to save this, although the Zoom link will also be sent out a few days before the event.
Participants are asked to ensure that they are named in Zoom, so that they are identifiable.
