Effective Parish Management: Assets, Resources and Services

£20 (invoice to councils afterwards)

This course is suitable for clerks and councillors.  It will focus on all aspects to consider when managing projects, events, services, fixed assets and staff/volunteers.  The emphasis will be on the need to plan, budget and on areas such as procurement, insurance, health and safety, risk management and other statutory requirements and best practice.

For those studying ILCA or CiLCA this course is aligned with Unit 4 – Management for Local Councils.

our presenter will be

Lesley Swinbank, an experienced clerk, with 40+ years at a large town and a smaller parish council in County Durham

Please note

Registration and cancellations will close 48 hours before the course.  After this time all live bookings will be charged whether the person attends or not, but non attendees will be sent the presentation.  Cancellations by email to cdalc@durham.gov.uk.

Please note that when booking, the Zoom link for the training will appear on the confirmation screen and participants are advised to save this, although the log in details will also be sent out a few days before the event.

Participants are asked to ensure that once logged in to the session, their screen in Zoom has an identifiable name.
