Engaging with your local community is essential for understanding its differing needs, being accountable, keeping residents and businesses informed of your work and priorities and fostering a sense of community.

Our course will explore how your council can improve engagement with your community and give you more confidence in delivering services, decision making and providing leadership in the community.

This unit is aligned with CiLCA Unit 5 and is suitable for both councillors and clerks.

Our presenter will be:

Audrey Christie, Executive Officer at the County Durham Association of Local Councils

Book here on Engaging with your Community on Tuesday 6th June at 6pm

You will receive an immediate automated email confirmation including the Zoom log in details.  We will also send this out again a day or two before the training.

Cancellations in the 48 hours leading up to the event, including no-shows on the evening, will be charged but will receive a copy of the presentation.
